Lauren Marquez is an audio engineer and musician based in New York City.
She grew up playing guitar in classical ensembles, pit orchestras, and pop/rock cover bands, and began her audio journey at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) and Cue Recording Studios (Falls Church, VA). In 2018 she joined the team at Electric Lady Studios, and since then has become a sought-after engineer there, working with artists and producers such as Fleet Foxes, Jack Antonoff, Patti Smith, Steve Jordan, Maggie Rogers, and many more.
Lauren also plays in the pop-grunge band Pom Pom Squad and has toured internationally with the group since 2022. Touring experience includes festivals such as Lollapalooza, SXSW, and Pitchfork Paris/London; tours supporting Poppy, PVRIS, Bartees Strange, PUP, and Illuminati Hotties; plus, an upcoming headline run across the U.S./Canada in Spring 2025.
